Sure Bet Calculator
Check whether two or three prices from different bookmakers guarantee a profit, and how much to place on each.
Using the sure bet calculator
Enter the best price for every outcome of the market, each from whichever bookmaker offers it, and the total you want to stake.
If the implied chances add up to less than 100%, it is a sure bet and the calculator splits the stake so every outcome returns the same.
Prices move quickly. Place the bigger stake first, at the book most likely to change its price.
Example: A tennis match at 2.15 on one book and 2.05 on another adds up to 95.3%. Staking 488 and 512 out of 1,000 returns about 1,049 either way: a 4.9% profit.
Questions people ask
What is a sure bet?
Prices across different bookmakers that, backed together, return a profit whatever happens.
How common are they?
Small ones appear every day, mostly in two-way markets like tennis, basketball and totals.
What can go wrong?
A price can change before the second bet is placed, or a book can void or limit the bet. Check the rules on retirements and overtime.
Two-way or three-way?
Both work. Enter two prices for tennis or basketball, three for markets with a draw.
